Commitment to sustainable forest management
The Management of QUALIMAX INTERNATIONAL, S.L., in order to promote sustainable forest management, is committed to implementing and maintaining a Chain of Custody system in accordance with the regulations of the reference certification body FSC®.
Currently, there are various certification systems, one of the most widespread worldwide being FSC®.
Statement of commitment
Management, as the party ultimately responsible for the company, defines and communicates in this document the chain of custody policy of QUALIMAX INTERNATIONAL, S.L., and hereby declares that it is not directly or indirectly involved in the following activities:
- ✓ Illegal logging or trade in illegal wood or forest products.
- ✓ Violation of human or traditional rights in forestry operations.
- ✓ Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations.
- ✓ Significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest uses.
- ✓ Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations.
- ✓ Violation of any of the ILO's core conventions, as defined in the Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998.
Social commitment and workplace safety

QUALIMAX INTERNACIONAL guarantees compliance with the quality requirements demanded by the European system and, therefore, the application of all its regulations.
CE Marking
The CE mark represents the European Communities. The application of the CE mark was introduced by the European Commission, which also established the conditions for using the CE mark based on the various CE certification directives.
By applying the CE mark, the manufacturer, or its representative within the European Union, declares that the individual product complies with the general safety standards of the mark's application guidelines. The CE mark is mandatory in all member states of the European Union.
RoHS
RoHS is Directive 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS stands for "Restriction of Hazardous Substances") and was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union to be applied in all member states.
This directive restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electrical and electronic equipment, namely: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, PBB and PBDE.
GS Mark
The GS Mark is a voluntary mark that can be used on electronic components, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, household appliances and components, consumer electronics, computer equipment, telecommunications equipment, lighting fixtures and components, among others.
GS products are assessed by the GPSG (German Equipment and Product Safety Act). This is a German body that carries out a series of quality and safety tests on products to verify their safety.
The end result is a product that comes to market with high safety and quality.
Double Insulation
This symbol means that the product is double insulated and is used on products such as electric shavers, hair dryers and portable electrical appliances.
Double insulation requires devices to have both basic and supplementary insulation, sufficient to prevent electric shocks.
This prevents any contact with metal parts and thus avoids the need for grounding.
